Introduction to production

PE(Polyethylene) : A universal purpose plastic material used in all kinds of applications ranging from industrial to household goods.

On top of the common plastic properties of lightweight, rust-free, and no decomposition, PE has superb properties, including chemical stability, weather resistance, water resistance, and resistance against low temperature, electric insulation, formability, and more. Also, it is one of the lightest plastic materials there are.

PET(Polyethylene Terephthalate) : The optimal material for the applications where dimensional precision is a must.

With higher mechanical strength, this high-performance plastic material provides dimensional precision, high resistance against wear, and chemical resistance. In addition, the material boasts superb resistance against temperature and acid, making it a widely used material in mechanical components in other countries.

Carbon

Carbon black is a material that originates from carbon, as is the case with diamond and is used as the raw material for automobiles, ink, and cosmetics. Carbon fiber refers to those that are heat-treated at 1,000 – 3,000℃ as a part of the production process. Those that are heat-treated at 2,500℃ or higher are referred to as the graphite fiber. Graphite is, compared to other materials, more resistant to heat, while the heat expansion coefficient is very small. With superb heat conductivity and electric conductivity, it is commonly used as the material for electric heating elements.
*The carbon - graphite mixing ratio in the carbon belt, which is the heating element of the heating film, determines the adhesion performance and resistance values. This is based on the nature of the plane structure of graphite and the circular molecular structure of carbon.

Silver paste

The silver paste, which is the conductive paste of the strap film, is the low-temperature type conductive paste of superb screen printing efficiency to be used on the plane heat radiator. The material also provides high flexibility and good adhesion performance with PET.
When the resistance value of the silver paste of the strap heating element is high, there are more risks of sparks and safety issues. When the resistance value of the conductor is lower, you can expect higher electric efficiency.
(1) Applications: The conductor for a strap heating element, membrane switch, EL keypad touch screen
(2) Characteristics: Easily attached on PET films or the films for a touch screen; high conductivity and flexibility; and high coating strength
